Arsenal man William Saliba has sent a message on Instagram to Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana after the young Frenchman continued to shine with another stunning performance for the Foxes – during a 1-0 win over Wolves.
Fofana and Saliba’s starts in the Premier League could not be more different. Fofana, 19, joined Leicester from St. Etienne in the summer for £30million (Goal) – and has since been drafted in at centre-back due to a number of injuries in defence.
Daniel Amartey, Caglar Soyuncu and Jonny Evans have all spent time on the sidelines this season – meaning Fofana has been thrown in at the deep end. However, the teenager has earned huge plaudits during his seven Leicester appearances.
He starred again on Sunday as Jamie Vardy’s penalty proved to be the difference – but Saliba has not been so fortunate. Also joining from St. Etienne, he is yet to make his debut for the Gunners. Fofana posted on Instagram after Leicester’s win.

Fofana was awarded the man-of-the-match award for his rearguard display in Leicester’s back three, with the Foxes missing glorious chances to extend their lead. Vardy missed a second penalty, while Harvey Barnes missed a late sitter.
Arsenal star Saliba was among the plaudits on Fofana’s Instagram. With the two playing alongside eachother at St. Etienne, Saliba sent him a message – telling Fofana: “You make me happy, my friend.”
