Arsenal star Kieran Tierney delivered an immense performance for Scotland in Friday’s World Cup qualifier against Moldova.
The Gunners defender played the full 90 minutes in Chisinau as Steve Clarke’s charges secured a playoff place.
Tierney’s nation opened the scoring in the 38th minute through Nathan Patterson’s first goal for his country.

Che Adams then doubled Scotland’s lead in the 65th minute, but the hosts had a chance to level from the penalty spot.
Eight minutes from time, Vadim Rata stepped up following Patterson’s handball, but Craig Gordon saved the effort.
And then, Tierney weighed in with a brave tackle to send the looping ball out for a corner.
Arsenal supporters and Scotland fans alike praised Tierney’s heroics:
Scotland round off their qualifying campaign against Denmark at Hampden Park on Monday.
Arsenal then return to action on Saturday 20 November as they take on Liverpool at Anfield.
