Arsenal are into the FA Cup final as they end a brilliant week with a 2-0 win over Manchester City in the semi-final at Wembley.

The Gunners put on a defensive masterclass to secure the 2-0 win over Pep Guardiola’s side.

But whilst it was all well and good having the ability to stop City from scoring, Arsenal still needed to hit goals at the other end.

Which is where Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came in.

The Gabonese striker scored both goals as Arsenal came away with a memorable win and booked their place in the final.

Both goals were beautifully taken. The first was a difficult volley to keep under control at the back post whilst his second was slipped effortlessly between the legs of the onrushing Ederson.

It was the type of display Aubameyang has sometimes been criticised for not producing against big teams like City. Which is odd, considering he has scored against Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea this season.

So after scoring a brace against Pep Guardiola’s City, Aubameyang was quick to clap back to those haters with a Tweet.

Arsenal fans will now be hoping that the forward continues such form and helps Arsenal lift the FA Cup trophy.

If he could follow that by extending his contract, which currently expires in 2021, then Arsenal fans will be left very happy.
