Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko has been spotted in some training photographs that have emerged today. The Ukrainian performer Has spent some time out injured during 2022/23 and fans will be pleased to see him involved.

The Gunners spent £50 million on the player during the summer. He checked in from Manchester City where he has played under the coaching influence of Mikel Arteta for several years.

Now at Arsenal, the ex-midfielder was keen to reunite himself with the 25-year-old once more. With the Premier League now just a few weeks away, supporters will be happy to know he’s in training.

Zinchenko has found his time at Arsenal frustrating so far. He’s made just nine appearances in all competitions, starting seven games in the Premier League with the Gunners currently sat top of the division.

The talented defender came to Arsenal in a somewhat surprising transfer from City. He had made 128 appearances at the Etihad Stadium and it’d seemed as though Pep Guardiola might keep him.

That wasn’t to be though and Arsenal stole in to complete a coup of a signing. Zinchenko is a player that Arteta knows very well and his team currently sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

This is a big plus for the Gunners. The team has been taken to Dubai for some mid-season warm-weather training and it would seem that there are several interesting figures with the group.

Some players will still be with their respective countries at the World Cup. Therefore, Arteta has taken some of the club’s younger players to run the rule over them with gaps in his squad.

Zinchenko looks like being an important player to the team’s fortunes. With a Premier League title chase currently ongoing, Arsenal will hope to keep their very best players fit and healthy.

The man with 52 caps for his country still has some stuff to prove at Arsenal. His best chance of doing that is by staying fit, however, and the fact he’s on the mid-season tour with Arsenal is big news.
