Arsenal have made a pretty solid start to 2020/21 results-wise.

The club have won three of their four Premier League games, and are into the last eight of the EFL Cup.

Gunners fans are on a high right now following the capture of Thomas Partey on deadline day, with the Ghanaian tipped to take the team to the next level.

There’s been plenty of praise for the likes of Gabriel, Hector Bellerin, and Dani Ceballos, while the threat of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette is never ignored.

One man not too many people have spoken about in the first few weeks of 2020/21, is one Nicolas Pepe.

The Ivorian winger has been behind new signing Willian in the pecking order so far, and Bukayo Saka has also been getting Gunners supporters talking.

He’s yet to truly throw off his shackles at Arsenal, but the exciting 25-year-old can be key for Arteta in 2020/21.

The star – who earns around £100,000-a-week (Spotrac) – showed glimpses of his talent, but fans know he has a few extra gears to go up.

He took his goal against Sheffield United superbly last Sunday, showcasing that impressive speed and directness that convinced the club to sign him from Lille.

He’s had plenty of time to settle in at the Emirates and learn the ways of the English top-flight, and Pepe is surely now well placed to have a huge impact for Arsenal in his second season and better his decent goals and assists tally of 2019/20.
