AC Milan are seemingly keen on a deal for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira this summer and a swap deal is even being mooted between the two clubs. It is reported by MilanNews24 that Arsenal are showing interest in the Milan midfielder Franck Kessie and that Milan could propose a swap deal for their Uruguayan midfielder as a way of getting a deal done.

The report leads off by suggesting that Milan are hopeful of Torreira pushing for the deal to be made.

Indeed, it would not be the first time Torreira has nearly joined Milan.

As reported by Calciomercato this week, the Arsenal midfielder actually agreed a deal to join Milan in the summer of 2018.

As reported by The Guardian, Arsenal spent £26.4 million to sign the midfield general from Sampdoria that summer.

Plenty of other clubs were keen on the player, including Everton and Napoli. But it appears Milan were also in the hunt.

As reported by Calciomercato, Torreira had actually said ‘yes’ to joining AC Milan before Arsenal swooped in and secured his signature.

Two years on and it seems that the Unai Emery signing might get the chance to yes to the Italian giants once again.
