Arsenal star Kieran Tierney has been praised by the Scottish media following his impressive performance for his nation on Monday night.
The Gunners defender helped Scotland record a crucial 2-0 win over Denmark in World Cup qualifying.
The victory meant Tierney’s nation will have home advantage in the Qatar 2022 playoffs next March.

Against Denmark, the Arsenal ace lined up on the left of a three-man defence, with Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson as left wing-back.
Tierney helped his nation record a clean sheet as part of a defence that held firm against the Danes.
The 24-year-old also impressed from an attacking sense, recording two efforts, one of which struck the woodwork.
The Scotsman gave Tierney 8 out of 10 and wrote: “Won the majority of his defensive duels and looked typically assured on the ball when going forward.”
Meanwhile, Football Scotland gave him 9 out of 10 and wrote: “Arguably Scotland’s best player across the last 18 months.

“Doesn’t get the headlines but he’s performed superbly out of position. World class footballer and was outstanding – once again.”
And Herald Scotland gave Tierney 8 out of 10 and wrote: “Nothing less than expected from Tierney.
“Dovetailed with Robertson well on the left all night. Tucked in as part of the terrific back-three who didn’t give anything away all night.”
With the international break now over, Tierney will return to Arsenal and prepare for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Liverpool.
