Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has had his say on the criticism that has come his way for his lack of goals over the last eight weeks.
The Brazilian joined the Gunners from Manchester City for £45 million (Mail). He was viewed by many as the signing of the summer, and he started the season in phenomenal style.
However, he seemed to lose his shooting boots last month.

Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus promises he’s about to go on a scoring streak soon
Jesus has scored five goals and provided seven assists in all competitions for Arsenal since the start of the season. That is a great return for someone who only joined the club in the summer, but all of his goals came early in the campaign.
The 25-year-old last scored for Arsenal back in the first week of October – against Spurs. That was almost two months ago, and his lack of goals has cost him a starting place in Brazil’s World Cup side.
Jesus, however, isn’t too dejected. He’s still confident he can turn things around and has promised fans that once he scores his next goal, he will never stop.
When asked if he thinks his finishing is a problem, the Brazilian told Apostagolos: “I don’t think so. We can talk about finishing, but the most appropriate thing is to talk about the chances I had.
“It’s a different football here (Brazil national team) and at Arsenal.
“Even though I had a few chances and lost, I’m sure it’s not about finishing. I started the season so well and nobody was asking about it. But it is not a problem. I’m going to kick the ball into the net soon and I’m not going to stop again.”

TBR View:
Jesus’ lack of goals is a slight concern for Arsenal, but nobody can question his performances.
The 25-year-old has been absolutely brilliant since the start of the season. Even when he doesn’t score a goal, he’s a nightmare for defenders to deal with, and his work ethic lifts up everyone around him and makes Arsenal a really dangerous side.
The Gunners are currently on top of the Premier League table. Jesus is one of the biggest reasons why, but if they want to stay there, they need their number nine to start firing again.
Arsenal fans will be hoping he’ll find his shooting boots before domestic football returns on Boxing Day.
