Arsenal star Eddie Nketiah continued his great form for England’s Under-21s side with two goals on Tuesday night, which should give him confidence going into the return of domestic football.
The Gunners centre-forward scored two goals in the second-half during a 5-0 win over Albania, albeit he did see a penalty saved in-between his strikes.
Aidy Boothroyd’s side recorded an emphatic win in their final group match for the European Under-21 Championship qualifiers and were unbeaten throughout, with eyes now on next year’s tournament.
Nketiah is an important part of the Young Lions group alongside Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was also on the scoresheet against Albania with the opening goal.
Arsenal’s striker posted a message on Instagram after his latest display and Hudson-Odoi responded: “bagsman”.

TBR’s View:
Nketiah looks a nailed-on starter for England at youth level, but he’s got a job on his hands to try cement a position in the starting XI at the Emirates Stadium under manager Mikel Arteta.
The 21-year-old is a highly-rated star to come through the Arsenal academy and is now integrated as a full senior player.
He’s scored three goals in 14 appearances across all competitions so far and is getting his opportunity to impress in the Europa League.
But the forward has been used as a substitute in all but one of the eight Premier League games so far and the clinical finisher will be hoping he can earn more top-flight minutes after the international break.
