Arsenal star Lucas Torreira’s future remains in some doubt.
The Uruguay international has apparently told the club to listen to offers for him in January (Calciomercato).
It’s been a tough start to the 2019/20 season for the 23-year-old, who has seen his starting prospects take a big hit due to Unai Emery’s love of Matteo Guendouzi.

He was also behind Granit Xhaka in the pecking order, although it looks unlikely the Swiss will pose much of a threat to anyone now following his outburst against Crystal Palace.
It would not be a popular move if £75,000-a-week star Torreira (Spotrac) was sold, especially when it seems as though Emery has not been using him properly when he has played him.
Should he leave, it should prompt a change of position for Calum Chambers.
TBR’s view – Chambers worth a try
Chambers is yet to feature in defensive midfield for Arsenal, but he could well be worth a go if Torreira does leave the Emirates.

The 24-year-old caught the eye in the position for Fulham last term, and has so far shown good composure for the Gunners this season which could make him a success slightly further forward.
It’s something a section of the Arsenal support have wanted to see for a while now.
The majority won’t want Torreira gone, but if he does depart then it has to open the door for Emery to instigate a position change.
Chambers is wasted at right-back and Emery can most definitely make better use of him.
