Arsenal starlet, Bukayo Saka, has revealed how a chat with Alexandre Lacazette prior to their win over Southampton helped the Gunners to victory.
Both Saka and Lacazette set one up and assisted another as the Gunners saw off the Saints 3-1 last night. It was a fine performance from the Arsenal pair, who look in fine form as things stand.

Nicolas Pepe got the opening goal for Arsenal. But then it was Saka and Lacazette’s turn to get in on the act, as Saka netted just before half-time from Lacazette’s pass, before returning the favour in the 72nd minute.
And Saka, speaking to BT Sport after the game, revealed his goal was pre-planned with the French striker.
“I spoke to him before the game about the opportunity. As soon as he gets the ball, I’m going to run in behind & he listened! We got a goal so I was happy with that”, Saka said.

Saka now has five goals this season. While Lacazette has impressed with eight in the Premier League himself. Mikel Arteta will be hoping for more of the same in the coming weeks from his in-form pair.
TBR View: An unlikely but successful pairing for Arsenal
Few fans would have said Lacazette would be playing such an important role this season. In the summer it looked like he could be on his way out but he’s been massively impressive recently.
Saka, meanwhile, is becoming a joy to watch. Few players get themselves to the point where they become the first name on a teamsheet, but Saka is getting there at Arsenal.
Gunners fans, then, will be hoping this run continues for some time.
