Arsenal signing Ousmane Dembele would give them the PL’s scariest frontline

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for ‘unsettled’ Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.

The World Cup winner has been linked with a move away from the Catalan giants for a number of weeks now, after getting slapped on the wrist for regularly turning up late as a result of late night gaming sessions.

It is understood that his behaviour has made it difficult for Ernesto Valverde to make him a regular starter.

As a result, Dembele has made just eight starts in La Liga this term and only one in the last seven games.

Arsenal are chasing him, as are Liverpool as reported by The Metro, and if the Gunners get him he could take them to the next level.

Apparently head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is very keen on him. Telling Zeit about the time he scouted him for Borussia Dortmund, he said: “I saw him, he had not even played for Stade Rennes in the first team, I felt this is a really special player.”

Dembele, Lacazette and Aubameyang the stuff of nightmares

If Arsenal signed Dembele, their frontline would be absolutely frightening for defences to come up against.

One would presume Unai Emery would field Dembele on the right, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the left and Alexandre Lacazette through the middle.

They would make up arguably the most electrifying trident in the Premier League.

All three are speed demons and would give defenders nightmares trying to track them. Not only that but they all have the ability to go on mazy dribbles and finish with aplomb.

The Premier League’s top teams will certainly hope Arsenal do not get him.
