Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is reportedly a target of Internazionale going into the 2019 January transfer window.
According to The Sun, Gunners chiefs are considering making the German available for a knock-down £25 million transfer, in the hopes of getting his huge wages off the books.
The report claimed Ozil’s representatives are to fly to Italy this week for talks with the Nerazzurri.

It’s thought that Arsenal are ready to move on from the ex-Real Madrid man, with Unai Emery seemingly not too keen on him having used him somewhat sparingly.
Ozil has at times dazzled in the Premier League, but has also sometimes faced criticism for ‘going missing in the big games’.
If Arsenal did find themselves negotiating with Inter over Ozil, then perhaps Emery should consider asking for one of their players to be involved in the deal.
Brozovic would be a fine piece of business
Arsenal should attempt to sign Marcelo Brozovic from the Italians.

The Croatian midfielder was brilliant at the World Cup and is a very versatile player.
He can play a number of central roles, including holding, box-to-box or attacking.
In Serie A this term, he’s averaged a pass success rate of 89.5% and been man of the match twice (via WhoScored).
Such a transfer would also allow the club to worry less about the fact that Aaron Ramsey is set to leave at the end of the season.

The Welshman has, for one reason or another, not been able to negotiate fresh terms and will leave for nothing in the summer as things stand.
Brozovic has the versatility to be a replacement for either Ozil or Ramsey, so perhaps Emery may wish to entertain any interest in the German in January.
