Italian midfielder Bryan Cristante’s name is doing the rounds a bit right now as a host of Premier League teams take a look at him.
Tottenham are said to be among the clubs keen on landing Cristante. Further reports have also suggested Aston Villa like the look of the Italian as well, with West Ham also getting a mention.
It’s been claimed that Roma would be willing to listen to offers of around £26m for Cristante. That sort of money is nothing for the top Premier League sides, especially those looking for a boost in January.

However, while it’s Champions League hopefuls Spurs and Villa who are in the queue for Cristante, Arsenal are another club who should be looking to get in on the act.
The Gunners seem to have an issue in the middle of the park and the 28-year-old could be ideal.
Arsenal should make move for Bryan Cristante
Arsenal’s issues in the middle of the park are becoming more and more obvious.
Despite splashing £100m on Declan Rice and that looking like money well spent, the other big names in the middle aren’t producing or even worse, staying fit.
Thomas Partey seems to be a walking injury problem and Cristante’s international teammate, Jorginho, seems to be struggling to find his very best form.
Indeed, Jorginho was hammered by the Italian press as he missed another penalty last week and a player like Cristante, who plays where Jorginho does, could replace him long-term for the Azzurri.
Interestingly, Jorginho has spoken highly of Cristante himself, labelling him a ‘real leader’. That is a solid endorsement from the experienced former Chelsea man.
Come January, then, Cristante might be just what Arsenal need to bolster the midfield ranks and move themselves on from relying on Partey and Jorginho.
