Arsenal should be on red alert with Zidane reportedly ready to loan out Vinicius

Real Madrid wonderkid Vinicius Junior could be allowed to leave the club this summer, according to a report by the Sun.

They report that following the Brazilian starlet’s breakthrough season in Spain, he has had a falling out with manager Zinedine Zidane.

That apparently means that as the Frenchman looks to reshape his squad for an assault on silverware during his second spell at the helm of the Spanish giants.

There are a host of Spanish clubs named in the report as keen on Vinicius’ services after a campaign when he showed his talent – but could he do a job in the Premier League?

For example, Arsenal need to improve their options in wide areas but do not have an enormous budget with which to attract elite talent to the Emirates Stadium.

And while it may not be instantly appealing to take a youngster on loan from a Champions League side, that’s what Emery planned with Denis Suarez and Vinicius would likely be a far better option than the Spanish flop.

Vinicius is a young sensation who needs to carry on playing games in order to improve and many of the sides named in pursuit of him are not in European competition – which could give Arsenal a boost if they did enter the chase.

Unai Emery should be on red alert if there’s a chance he could get the Brazilian in this summer.
