It was reported by SportBild back in May that Arsenal were interested in Angelo Stiller ahead of the final year of his contract with Bayern Munich.
Of course, a move would not take place. And the 19-year-old has since gone on to make his debut for the Bavarian giants. In fact, both of his appearances for the club have come in the Champions League.

Some at Bayern may have been hoping that his progression from the second team may convince him to sign a new contract. However, it appears that that is not the case.
According to a fresh report from SportBild, Stiller informed Bayern back in November that he will not be signing fresh terms.

It is suggested that Hoffenheim are showing interest in the teenager. However, it does appear that Stiller is yet to make a concrete decision on where he may end up.
And that should arguably tempt the Gunners to make a fresh attempt to sign him. It is a huge achievement to break into the current Bayern side – particularly when those appearances have come in the Champions League.
Arsenal have a fantastic group of young players currently coming through at the Emirates. In fact, it is the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Folarin Balogun who are leaving the disgruntled supporters with some hope.
Signing Stiller would clearly cost Arsenal little. And given that they should be able to discuss a pre-contract deal from next month, it would be an extremely positive way to start the year if they could convince Stiller to make the switch to the Emirates.
