Arsenal are set for a major boost ahead of the weekend’s clash with Manchester United, with Thomas Partey set to be declared fit to play.
The midfielder was a doubt after picking up another minor knock in midweek. However, according to a report from Goal, the Ghana star has recovered well and is said to be ‘confident’ about being included.

Partey’s availability will be a big boost for the Gunners and boss Mikel Arteta. Arsenal are a visibly better side with Partey in the midfield, with the summer signing earning plenty of praise this past week again.
The Gunners are preparing to face Man United knowing it’s a huge test of their recent improvement. United will be a wounded animal, having lost out in surprise fashion to Sheffield United in midweek.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could miss out still, while Martin Odegaard could be handed his debut or at least a place on the bench.
TBR View: Partey so important, one of the signings of the summer
You only have to watch Arsenal with and without Partey to see the difference he makes. He brings presence, calmness, and ability to the midfield area that the Gunners have lacked for years.
Further, he was also fantastic against Manchester United earlier in the season.
Partey is crucial to Arsenal and, if he is fit, then it gives them an increased chance of securing three points against the Red Devils.
