Arsenal set to have key trio back for Leicester City clash this weekend

Arsenal will have Tierney, Odegaard and White fit for Leicester.

On the weekend, Leicester City will welcome Arsenal to the King Power.

Going into that game, the Gunners are set to have plenty of returning stars.

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Ben White, Martin Odegaard and Kieran Tierney will all be fit for the clash.

It wasn’t looking good for White when he was subbed vs Leeds.

However, it seems that he was removed with illness as opposed to injury.

Meanwhile, both Odegaard and Tierney will be set to return to action.

Odegaard played the final 20 minutes against Villa on Friday night yet was left out entirely vs Leeds.

Arteta claimed after the game that is was purely precautionary and that he should be involved vs Leicester.

Meanwhile, Tierney will be looking to make his injury return this weekend after two games out.

Both the Villa and Leeds games came too soon for Tierney and his bruised left-ankle.

This news all comes from a handy Football.London report that has put all of the Arsenal team news in one place.

It also claims that Granit Xhaka is still recovering and won’t be back until November or December.

If the Gunners can get a result over the Foxes on the weekend they could rise into the top six.

Arteta’s side are one of four teams on 14 points and sit just behind Tottenham and Brighton on 15.

There is still a lot of clubs bunched around each other in this early season.

The fans could see their side rise above the rest of the pack with some consistency, though.

It’s certainly easier said than done, but with their injured stars returning Arteta will be hoping to turn the tide.
