Arsenal have revealed their home kit for the upcoming season, with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil part of the unveiling. Although neither player is definitely going to be at the club come August, they have been part of the photo shoot and that will fill supporters with hope that they will stay with the club. The images were leaked last week, but they have now been officially released by the club. Hector Bellerin is also featured in the pictures.

Every little detail will be analysed this summer as the media try to predict what is going on behind the scenes. Despite these images, it is too soon to suggest that they will both stay with the club. Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move away, with Bayern Munich and Manchester City rumoured as possible destinations, as reported by the Mirror.

The situation with Ozil is more hopeful as he doesn’t seem to be as close to the exit as his Chilean team-mate. These two sagas are likely to run throughout the summer and it is difficult to give a prediction either way.

Meanwhile, La Parisien reports that Kylian Mbappe is considering a move to Arsenal as he sees it as a stepping-stone to his eventual world-record transfer to Real Madrid. The 18-year-old is one of the most exciting players in Europe after he scored 26 goals in all competitions for Monaco last season. It is thought that the Europe League won’t be an obstacle to the move and that the teenager is keen to work with Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners won’t like being viewed as a stepping-stone, especially considering what is currently happening with Bellerin, Ozil and Sanchez. However, it would be a huge coup for them to sign Mbappe and they may be open to taking him for a few seasons before he eventually moves to Real Madrid. The teenager would excite supporters and it would create a positivity around the club that has been lacking in recent seasons. It remains unlikely, but this report will give them hope that an agreement can be reached.

Aaron Ramsey played a key role in the FA Cup final and he could be rewarded with a new contract during the coming weeks. The Daily Mail report that the club are set to offer a new deal to the Welshman and will give him terms that put him on a similar level to Ozil, who is currently earning £160,000-a-week. It is thought that the club want to avoid another contract problem next summer, which makes it important that the midfielder is tied down, as he is approaching the last two years of his current contract.

There will be many that believe that Ramsey hasn’t been able to push on and become the player many expected him to a few years ago. However, his performance in the FA Cup final showed the influence that he can have on games and the Gunners will be hoping that he can reach that level more often as he approaches the peak years of his career. Given the uncertainty of this summer, it would be wise to tie him down.
