Arsenal remain keen on a swoop for Crystal Palace flier Wilfried Zaha despite the imminent arrival of Nicolas Pepe, according to I News.
Pepe is set to be announced as an Arsenal player soon and it might have been expected that his arrival would signal the end of Unai Emery’s interest in his Ivory Coast international team-mate Zaha.
But that is apparently not the case, with Arsenal keen to further improve their attacking options and remaining hot on the trail of Zaha.
Quite how Arsenal go about affording both men in a transfer window where their low transfer budget has been the subject of much discussion is another matter.

Getting international team-mates Pepe and Zaha together in north London alongside Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would give Emery a staggering array of attacking options.
It would still be a major shock if Arsenal found the funds for a Zaha swoop, but it would signal their intent to back Emery and redouble their efforts to return to the Champions League.
Arsenal still have problems to sort at the back but they would be capable of outscoring opponents at will with two lightning new wingers providing the bullets for their elite strike duo.
