Arsenal are set to join the race for Adrien Rabiot this summer, according to Calciomercato.
The report builds on recent developments regarding Rabiot’s future at Juventus. The Frenchman is said to be unhappy at his playing time in Turin and the likes of Manchester United and Everton are reportedly keen on bringing him to the Premier League.
However, Arsenal are also interested in the player.
They suggest that Arsenal were keen on a loan deal for the player in January, even speaking to his mother, who also acts as his agent. Reportedly, Mikel Arteta even spoke to the player about a temporary switch. Indeed, The Times did report that Arsenal were considering a loan move back in the winter window. However, Juventus ended up selling Emre Can to Borussia Dortmund and Rabiot was taken off the market.

Arsenal would struggle to afford the player outright, but the report highlights both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette as potential swap options to make a deal happen.
Last summer, Unai Emery was reportedly (Daily Mail) after the player on a free transfer before he decided on a switch to Juventus from PSG at the end of his contract in France. As reported by the Mail, the Frenchman is on £120,000-a-week with the Bianconeri, so reducing his wage demands may be a stumbling block for the Gunners.
So it appears that in the last two transfer windows, Arsenal have tried to bring the mercurial midfielder to North London.
It seems they might try and make it third time lucky this time around.
