Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly showing a ‘great interest’ in 16-year-old Brazilian talent Miguel Silveira.
That is according to a report from Diario AS, which suggests the North London clubs could battle Real Madrid for his signature.
Arsenal, it appears, have the upper hand. The report claims they have ‘moved fast’ in their pursuit of Silveira and have arranged a meeting with the teenager and his family.

The report suggests that the teenager has been compared to Philippe Coutinho and has a buy-out clause in his current deal with Fluminense set at €35 million (£30.3m). The Brazilian under-17 international is considered one of the top young players in Brazil and Arsenal will undoubtedly be hoping to win the transfer battle to bring him to Europe.
TBR’s View
Arsenal snapped up another Brazilian youngster last summer with Gabriel Martinelli’s arrival from Ituano and that has looked like a good piece of business.
Silveira is just as exciting a prospect so Arsenal fans will no doubt be hoping the club can push on and get a deal done for the teenager.
Whilst £30.3 million might be a bit expensive for a player of his age, Arsenal would be reaping the benefits if he later went on to live up to his next Coutinho moniker.
