A report from The Telegraph has suggested that Arsenal believe that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will end any doubt over his future by penning a new contract imminently.

Tying down Aubameyang to a new deal is the piece of business that most Arsenal fans would want prioritised during this window.

The Gabon international has been an incredible signing for the Gunners. And of course, it was his two goals that clinched the FA Cup for Mikel Arteta’s men.

At the time, he seemed to provide few assurances regarding his future. But it appears that there is some good news just around the corner.
