Arsenal react as Leicester City near signing of Boubakary Soumare

Boubakary Soumare is set to sign for Leicester City, according to The Telegraph, and Arsenal supporters are not best pleased about missing out on the midfield warrior.

It looks as though the Foxes have won the race to secure the talented player for just £15 million once the summer transfer window reopens.

The 22-year-old was set for a move to Newcastle last summer but he opted to stay with Lille instead. That move looks to have paid dividends as he could lift the Ligue 1 title at the weekend.

He could be set to leave in the summer though and Leicester look to have won the race to secure his services ahead of next season.

Celtic strike Premier Sports deal - is this the "additional value" we've been waiting for?

The news has been met with disgust by Arsenal supporters, with plenty seemingly believing he would have been an ideal signing at the Emirates Stadium.

At 22 Soumare has bags of potential and it would seem as though the Gunners faithful were hopeful he could bolster their engine room instead.

It seems as though the Arsenal fan base think the Foxes are getting themselves a steal and have taken to Twitter in disgust.

Here is what they had to say as Brendan Rodgers closes in on a coup.
