Arsenal have a golden opportunity to lift some of the current gloom surrounding the Emirates as they host Manchester City on Tuesday with a place in the Carabao Cup semi-final at stake.
The Gunners will go into the game as underdogs. And it is difficult to see the club taking any major decisions should the result not go their way. But the pressure is most definitely still on Arteta.

It would therefore, be no surprise to see the Spaniard name a strong side against the Cityzens. For some, a strong side right now would consist of several young players. But Arteta will surely put his faith in the senior members of the squad.
The most notable change may come up front. Alexandre Lacazette – who earns £182,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – may come back in after not starting at Everton at the weekend.
Lacazette was arguably unlucky to miss out at Goodison Park. And Eddie Nketiah failed to make the most of his opportunity.
Another player who will surely miss out is Willian. The Brazilian has been a hugely disappointing signing so far. And Arteta would be asking for trouble if he handed him another start in the quarter-final.
Bukayo Saka may instead be pushed into a more attacking role. Saka is obviously more than capable of contributing in more defensive areas, so his versatility may be welcome if Arsenal come under pressure.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles may move across to left wing-back. And that may lead to Cedric Soares coming in on the right.
Sead Kolasinac may start on the left of the back three. But perhaps, it should be no surprise if Shkodran Mustafi or David Luiz feature instead.
The game looks to have come too soon for Gabriel Martinelli to start. But perhaps, the likes of Miguel Azeez, Emile Smith Rowe and Folarin Balogun may be in contention to make a surprise appearance.
With that in mind, here is how Arsenal may line up on Tuesday…
