Francis Coquelin – 4

Overwhelmed by Chelsea’s midfield, he threw himself into everything and often came out looking foolish. No better example than Eden Hazard’s strike.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain – 6

When on the ball, he did well and delivered a great cross for Gabriel in the first half. Out of possession, he lacked the energy to keep up with N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic but did well in the circumstances.

Theo Walcott – 4

Too lazy defensively and consistently failed to track back and follow his runners. His pace should have been a threat but failed to live up to expectations.

Mesut Ozil – 5

Anonymous and seemed carried along by his teammates. Had one good opportunity towards the end of the first half but scuffed his shot.

Alex Iwobi – 4

Had an early effort deflected wide and was ineffectual after that. A few runs down the wing but he struggled against the quality of Chelsea.
