Mesut Ozil – 4

Just 16 touches in the first half showed just how anonymous the German was. One good delivery into Danny Welbeck aside, you could be forgiven for forgetting that the German was even out on the field.

Alexis Sanchez – 6

Cut a frustrated figure up-front and was too easily outmuscled by his Tottenham counterparts. Fortunate not to concede a penalty for handball when tracking back at a corner second half, he failed to stamp his mark onto the game in any way, shape or form.

Olivier Giroud – 5

Smashed over when he perhaps could have done better at a corner early in the second half and then fired a tame effort straight at Hugo Lloris when gifted an opportunity by Eric Dier in perhaps his best chance of the game. Never presented a physical threat.
