Arsenal have been offered the chance to potentially sign French midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer, according to The Independent’s Miguel Delaney.
Writing in his weekly newsletter for The Independent, Delaney covered a host of topics. Among them was Arsenal, with updates on a number of goings on at London Colney in what has been a busy old summer for the Gunners.
And one of those updates came in the form of the club being given the opportunity to sign Rabiot from Juventus.

Covering a potential bid from the Italian giants for Gabriel Magalhaes, it’s claimed in the Reading the Game Newsletter that Rabiot is one of the players Juventus have presented to Arenal as a potential make-weight in any deal. The Frenchman has never quite got settled in Turin and hit the heights some expected. However, Rabiot has won seven league titles, with six coming with PSG and one coming with Juve.
Of course, whether Arsenal have an interest in signing Rabiot, remains to be seen. Interestingly, it’s claimed in the same piece that there is no interest in them bringing back former player, Aaron Ramsey.
TBR’s View: Rabiot Yet To Really Prove His Worth And Could Be Risky For Arsenal
There’s a reason you get mentioned in nearly every transfer window and there’s a reason why Adrien Rabiot is one of those names.
The Frenchman has all the tools to become a top, top player but so far in his career, he’s just not got to the level so many expected he might. With that, comes the element of risk in taking on a player who is known to be on huge money and would need time to adapt to England.
Furthermore, if Rabiot is indeed part of a swap involving Gabriel, then that wouldn’t half cause concern among some sections of the Arsenal support base.
