Arsenal have been linked with a number of midfielders ahead of the January transfer window.
The Gunners reportedly tried to sign Douglas Luiz in summer, but failed to get a deal over the line.
Now, with just over a month until the window opens, Arsenal can try to bolster their midfield ranks once again.

According to France Bleu Paris, the Gunners have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain’s Carlos Soler.
The Spain international only joined PSG in summer, but game time hasn’t been particularly frequent for him.
Soler has started just four Ligue 1 games and one Champions League match to date for the Parisians.
This has led to speculation linking him with a move away, with Arsenal said to be keen on his signature.
Arsenal target Soler – factfile
Soler joined PSG for a reported £16million after making a huge name for himself at Valencia.
The 25-year-old made 226 appearances for Los Che’s senior team after coming through the ranks.
Soler has also won 13 caps for Spain, scoring four times including one goal at the World Cup.
He played the final 33 minutes as Spain thrashed Costa Rica 7-0 and helped himself to a late goal.

Soler’s style of play has been compared to that of Santi Cazorla and David Silva.
Scouting outlet Breaking the Lines has described him as a ‘great passer’ who’s ‘sometimes even more dangerous than the strikers’.
All in all, Soler would be a good addition to the Arsenal ranks. However, it remains to be seen whether PSG would want to offload him already.
