Arsenal will hope to sign some players during the summer as they aim to qualify for the Champions League.
It is three years since the Gunners sat at European football’s top table and boss Unai Emery is under no illusions of his remit.
Although a few new additions are expected at the Emirates Stadium, some may well depart too.
One of those could be Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny.

According to reports in Egypt from Ahly News, the combative performer could be subject of interest from West Ham United.
At this stage, it is unsure how reliable the source in Egypt is, but nonetheless the 27-year-old could leave Arsenal this summer.
Elneny arrived at the Emirates Stadium in 2016 but has failed to hold down a regular place in the team.
In three seasons he has featured in 89 games in all competitions, scoring twice and registering eight assists.
Quite simply, the Gunners have better players in Elneny’s position right now and he is perhaps surplus to requirements.
According to Spotrac, the midfielder earns £50,000 per-week and getting that off the wage bill would allow Emery some room to manoeuvre.

With reports on Elneny’s future doing the rounds, Arsenal fans are getting excited.
It doesn’t appear he is overly popular at the Emirates Stadium and the departure would be welcomed.
Here is a selection of tweets from Arsenal supporters with regards to the Elneny speculation:
