Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny has hinted he would be keen to make his loan move to Besiktas permanent.
The Egypt international is spending the 2019/20 season at Vodafone Park having slipped down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.
Last term, he made just 17 appearances for the Gunners, with Unai Emery preferring the likes of Granit Xhaka, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi in midfield.

Elneny has made a bright start to life in Turkey, and has recovered well after getting sent off on his debut for the club.
He appears to be quite settled, and the 27-year-old has suggested he’d be happy to stay put after the current season.
He said (FourFourTwo): “I’m 100 percent focused on Besiktas now, I want to win the league and the cup.
“It feels like it’s my home now, I’m happy here, we play good football with a really good coach.
“The team will become stronger every game and I have a really good chance to be successful with this team.”
TBR’s view – Arsenal should sell
Realistically Elneny is not quite Arsenal standard.

Over the past few years, he’s had ample opportunity to prove himself to be an important player for the starting XI but it hasn’t quite happened for him.
Besiktas supposedly have an option to buy for £15 million, and that would be brilliant business by Arsenal, who picked Elneny up for just £5 million from Basel (BBC Sport).
