Right now he is playing as though he has a real point to prove and that bodes well for Emery.
The 30-year-old hasn’t played anywhere near as much as he would have liked this season. The form he is showing right now, however, is making him undroppable.
Back in January the German turned down a loan move to PSG, according to the Daily Mail.
That is now proving a wise move by the player as he thrives following Emery’s decision to give him the chance of a revival.
