On Thursday, Arsenal finally confirmed the £72 million signing of Nicolas Pepe (BBC Sport).
The Gunners smashed their transfer record to secure the winger from Lille on a five-year contract.
It is believed the club gave the French outfit a down payment of £20 million, with the rest of the money to be paid in installments (The Sun).
Welcome to The Arsenal, Nicolas Pepe ?

The signing of Pepe is a huge statement from Arsenal, who have sprung into life in the transfer market after weeks of chasing shadows.
Pepe follows Dani Ceballos and William Saliba (who is to be loaned back to Saint-Etienne) to the Emirates, both of whom were announced last week.
After a 23-goal and 12-assist season, Gunners fans are hugely excited for what the Ivorian will bring in 2019/20 – he could well form part of a frightening combination for Unai Emery.
With Pepe a right-winger, Arsenal could have an absolute force on their hands once Hector Bellerin returns to full fitness.
The Spaniard will miss the opening stages of the season, but will eventually return as a regular in the side.
And once he does, he and Pepe could create destruction together.
With Pepe being left-footed he often cuts inside, which easily allows for the overlap from the right-back.
Bellerin is one of the Premier League’s best overlapping full-backs and the pair could be a huge weapon.
Perhaps Manchester City’s Kyle Walker and Raheem Sterling come closest in terms of sheer pace and explosivity, but Pepe and Bellerin are definitely right up there.
