Arsenal are keen on bringing Valencia goalkeeper Norberto Murara to the Emirates Stadium this summer, according to Spanish outlet Plaza Deportivo, via the Daily Star.
They report that the Gunners have tabled a contract offer for the 29-year-old stopper after talking to his agents, but he is not happy with what’s been offered.
Valencia have qualified for next season’s Champions League, while Arsenal will only get there if they win the Europa League final next week and that is apparently a concern for the goalkeeper.
He could reportedly be tempted if the Gunners make it, but he wants to play in Europe’s Premier competition.

And Arsenal need a goalkeeper in order to replace the retiring Petr Cech, who’s £110,000 a week (Spotrac) wages will be off the Gunners wage bill after this summer.
The report also says that Arsenal have only approached the stopper personally, looking to negotiate personally with him before making contact with Valencia, who Unai Emery’s side of course saw off to make the Europa League final.
Perhaps the comprehensive nature of Arsenal’s victory over the Spanish outfit will convince the man known as Neto that the superior side is in north London, but much could rest on that Baku showdown also.
