A number of Arsenal fans have called for the club to look into moving for Duvan Zapata after he said he supported the Gunners when he was young.
The 30-year-old is currently plying his trade for Atalanta and has registered 61 goals and 29 assists for the Serie A high-flyers since joining in January 2018, initially on loan.
Zapata scored 19 goals last season, while this term he has netted 14 times, as well as claiming an impressive 12 assists.

His efforts have helped Atalanta up to fourth in the table this season, keeping them on course for Champions League qualification.
Liverpool and Chelsea have been linked with Zapata, according to football.london, but when asked by Gazzetta dello Sport about potential summer interest, he spoke highly of Arsenal.
“My future in the Premier League? Never say never in football,” Zapata told the Italian outlet, as translated by football.london.
“When I was a kid I was always watching the Premier League. I was an Arsenal fan! I got up early every weekend to watch their games.
“I was in love with Thierry Henry’s Arsenal. In Colombia, we love the Premier League. Who knows, one day I could play there.”
Admittedly, Zapata’s contract until 2023 means he probably won’t come cheap, and at 30, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal would be willing to spend a big sum on a player in his thirties.
Nonetheless, some Arsenal fans think he’s got a great profile and would be a success at the Emirates Stadium:
