Folarin Balogun has posted his reaction on Twitter after the Arsenal loanee helped Middlesbrough knock Tottenham Hotspur out of the FA Cup on Tuesday night.
Spurs simply cannot capitalise on securing one win at the moment. Once again, their 4-0 victory over Leeds at the weekend suggested that they had turned the corner after a turbulent spell.

However, Balogun was part of the Boro side that beat them at the Riverside Stadium on a dramatic night. Antonio Conte’s men are still awaiting their first back-to-back wins since December.
And Boro more than deserved their victory this week. The Championship side rode their luck at times. Harry Kane had an effort ruled for an offside that looked incredibly tight.

And Joe Lumley had to make a few brilliant saves to deny the likes of Eric Dier and Son Heung-min.
But Boro also had their chances. And Arsenal loanee Balogun was one of those who came incredibly close, almost doubling the lead at the end of extra-time.
Crucially, Josh Coburn smashed home the only goal just after the break in extra-time to book Chris Wilder’s side’s spot in the quarter-final of the competition.
For Tottenham meanwhile, it is a real blow as it marked their final opportunity to net a trophy this season. And obviously, there have been recent doubts over the future of Conte.
Balogun cameo will make Tottenham loss all the sweeter for Arsenal fans
The win therefore, may have been particularly satisfying for Arsenal fans, with Balogun getting a chance to show what he can do against their North London rivals.
It has not been the easiest start to life on Teesside for Balogun. He is yet to open his account in front of goal.
But Arsenal fans know of the quality he possesses. And they will also appreciate the tweet he sent out following the victory following the full-time whistle…
