Arsenal have been linked with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Antonio Valencia in recent weeks, showing right-back is a priority position for them in the summer window.
According to The Sun, Crystal Palace starlet Wan-Bissaka is a major target for Arsenal, who want him as their long-term right-back.
The 21-year-old has been in fine form for the Eagles all season, proving his Premier League quality, and is wanted by a host of clubs.
And Luis Valencia, father and agent of Manchester United right-back Antonio Valencia, told El Universo that Arsenal were interested in his son.
Wan-Bissaka and Valencia could work as a pairing with the former playing most of the games and the latter being the back-up and mentor.
But where would this leave Hector Bellerin? The 24-year-old is currently out with a long-term injury but is expected to return in the 2019/20 season.
Unai Emery’s clear hunt for a right-back should concern Bellerin, who is the undisputed first-choice at The Emirates when fit.
Wan-Bissaka could seriously threaten the Spain international’s role at Arsenal when he makes his comeback from a long-term injury.
And if Arsenal bring in two new right-backs, then Bellerin might be forced to find a new club to take his career forward.
