Arsenal will have to pay around £53m in order to land Lyon and France midfielder, Houssem Aouar, this summer.
The classy midfield star has attracted plenty of admiring glances over the last 12 months, with Arsenal said to be among the clubs interested in the Lyon ace.

And speaking to Arsenal Fan TV, transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has claimed that the Gunners will need to pay over £50m to land their man.
That number would, at the moment, pose a problem for the Gunners, who are not flush with cash following the pandemic. Indeed, Mikel Arteta is trying to wheel and deal with his squad in order to raise funds.

In addition, the club has also splashed out on Gabriel Magalhaes while awarding a big contract to Brazilian winger, Willian. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also expected to sign a new deal with the club soon, while Mesut Ozil remains in the squad.
This could well mean that Aouar is out of reach for the Gunners, barring a fire-sale of some fringe players.
In reach but Arteta needs to move players on and quickly – TBR View
Houssem Aouar is rightly being touted as one of the best young midfielders in Europe and he’d definitely take the Gunners to the next level if he was signed.
But Arteta needs to move fast to shift some names on. The likes of Lucas Torreria, Matteo Guendouzi, and Sokratis may all need to go and quickly if they are to land Aouar.
The Lyon mas has impressed once again in the last year. He is also highly-rated by Pep Guardiola, who is a big fan of the Frenchman.
