Arsenal are keen to add to their defensive ranks with the signing of Strasbourg defender Kenny Lala, according to reports in France from Le10 Sport.
The Gunners will face competition from Manchester City but are keen to add the 27-year-old to improve a concerning defence.
Boss Unai Emery is set for a major rebuilding project this summer and the biggest concern is at the back. Arsenal have looked woefully inept defensively of late and changes are needed during the summer.

Right-back Lala is set to be available for around £13 million this summer and with Hector Bellerin out with a long-term injury, his arrival could be timely for the Gunners.
Competing with City won’t be easy, although Pep Guardiola only sees him as a back-up option for Kyle Walker. The chance to play frequent football at the Emirates Stadium could make Arsenal a more tempting proposition.
TBR Verdict
Lala has had a fine season in France with Strasbourg. The right-back has scored four goals and contributed 10 assists towards the 2018/19 campaign.

His defending his solid and he likes to get forward to assist with the attacking side of stuff which will suit Arsenal’s style of play.
Emery is desperate for defensive reinforcements. With a solid defence this season they would have a top-four finish secured by now, but more often than not an amateurish rearguard has hampered their progress.
Pipping City to Lala would be a decent start to the transfer window for Emery and he will hope for a few more arrivals to go alongside him.
