He thoroughly impressed fans with his movement, quick distribution and desire to have the ball.

Henry-Francis also played a part in Emile Smith Rowe’s goal on 82 minutes, a consolation effort in a 2-1 defeat.

After the game, some Arsenal fans felt his style of play was reminiscent of none other than Cesc Fabregas:

Friday’s contract news is the next step – perhaps long overdue – in an impressive upward trajectory for the talented playmaker.

Henry-Francis was a fringe player for Arsenal’s Under-18s at the start of last season but it didn’t take him long to make his mark.

In the first three months of the campaign, he made just two substitute appearances.

Then, he then nailed down a first-team spot in Ken Gillard’s XI, and by the end of the season, even featured for the Under-23s.

Last season, Henry-Francis made 15 appearances for the U18s, registering one goal and three assists, and was involved in the FA Youth Cup.

There are so many talented youngsters coming through the ranks at Hale End – the future really does look bright for Arsenal.
