'Arsenal is': Gary Lineker shares honest verdict as Manchester City race into 3-0 lead
Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to react after Manchester City raced into a 3-0 lead over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners experienced one of the worst first-half displays we’ve ever seen, as Granit Xhaka also received a straight red card.
Goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Ferran Torres and Gabriel Jesus put Pep Guardiola’s side in the ascendancy, and Lineker sounds quite concerned.

In our view, that’s an understatement – Arsenal are in serious trouble.
Regardless of what happens in the second half, the Spaniard’s position as manager is now surely in danger.
Arteta has been backed with over £100m worth of talent this summer, and if his side deliver another display like this, it could well be curtains for him.
What could happen after Arsenal vs Manchester City?
Well, if Arteta is sacked, there aren’t too many managers out there capable of making an immediate impact, although Antonio Conte is currently unemployed.
The Italian has won a Premier League title with Chelsea, and also just won the Serie A title with Inter Milan before leaving earlier this summer.
However, the Independent believe he isn’t too keen on stepping into the dugout at the Emirates Stadium.
In truth, we don’t really blame him – getting Arsenal back to the top seems like a genuinely huge task right now.
