Arsenal have kept their wage bill under control in recent years but there are still a few shock names in their top earners.
There has been a clear change in transfer strategy since Mikel Arteta took charge of the club, with Arsenal taking more care of the wages they hand out to new signings.
It was reported by the Daily Mail that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was earning as much as £350,000 per week during his time at the club. Now, no one in the first-team squad even comes close to those figures.
Arsenal welcomed five new signings to Arteta’s squad but a new report on the club’s wage bill suggests all of their new arrivals have accepted modest wages at The Emirates.
All apart from Raheem Sterling, who continues to earn £325,000 per week shared between Arsenal and Chelsea.

Raheem Sterling is the highest-paid player at Arsenal
The Sun have published the full wages of the first-team squad at Arsenal and there are a few surprise names towards the top of the list.
They claim that Sterling is the highest earner at Arsenal on a wage of £325,000 per week, but only half of that is covered by Arsenal as part of their loan agreement with Chelsea for Sterling.
| Raheem Sterling | £325,000 per week |
| Kai Havertz | £280,000 per week |
| Gabriel Jesus | £265,000 per week |
| Declan Rice | £240,000 per week |
| Martin Odegaard | £240,000 per week |
| Thomas Partey | £200,000 per week |
| Bukayo Saka | £195,000 per week |
| William Saliba | £190,000 per week |
Next up on the list is another former Chelsea player in the shape of Kai Havertz, who is reportedly earning £280,000 per week at The Emirates following his £65m arrival in 2023.
Gabriel Jesus and Declan Rice are also among the club’s highest earners on £265,000 and £240,000 per week respectively.
Raheem Sterling to Arsenal is great value
Signing Sterling on a season-long loan deal while paying just over £160,000 per week in wages is great value for Arsenal.
He adds quality depth to Arsenal’s forward line and will allow Arteta to rotate and rest Bukayo Saka when needed this season.
As for the rest of Arsenal’s wage bill, while a number of stars are on big money, it hardly scrapes the wages paid out by their Premier League rivals for the likes of Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah and Kevin de Bruyne.
