Aaron Ramsdale kept a clean sheet yesterday as Arsenal defeated Burnley 1-0. The game at Turf Moor was settled by a goal from Martin Odegaard in the first half and proved a second successive win for the Gunners. After the game, Ian Wright, Kalvin Phillips and Ben Foster all reacted on Instagram, regarding the goalkeeper’s performance.
The custodian checked in at the Emirates Stadium in the summer. He was a somewhat surprise signing from Sheffield United where he had been the number one stopper last season. Already, his signing looks like a masterstroke by Arsenal.

Ramsdale is yet to concede a goal for the Gunners. He kept a clean sheet in the 6-0 win over West Brom in the Carabao Cup and followed that up with another shutout against Norwich. Against Burnley yesterday, he was tested but stood firm.
The 24-year-old looks like having the potential to develop into a fine player. He was signed in a deal that could eventually cost £30 million and right now it’s a case of so far, so good.
What have Foster, Wright and Phillips said about Arsenal star Ramsdale?
Quite simply, they’ve all raved about his performance for the team yesterday. Foster is a goalkeeper himself and has raved about Ramsdale in the past.
He made a nod towards his current form and also his personality after his latest performance for the Gunners.
Phillips was a teammate of Ramsdale’s during Euro 2020 in the summer. He made a joke regarding the goalkeeper’s appearance; although it was in good jest at least.
Wright loves Arsenal. He is a former fan favourite himself and he also took time out to congratulate the goalkeeper for his latest showing between the posts.
