Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium in recent months.
However, the Gunners have absolutely no intention of parting company with the 25-year-old in the January transfer window.
This is according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, who also provided an update on Arsenal’s general transfer stance this month.
Ramsdale‘s Arsenal future has been the subject of speculation for a few months now, after unceremoniously slipping down the Gunners pecking order.

The England international joined Arsenal in 2021 for a reported £30million and quickly dethroned Bernd Leno to become first-choice in between the sticks.
Ramsdale was the Gunners first-choice stopper for two seasons, but this changed earlier this season after Arsenal signed David Raya and eventually made him No. 1.
This has led to speculation regarding Ramsdale’s future, but according to Sheth, there’s virtually no chance Arsenal will let him leave mid-season.
“Arsenal have no plans to allow Aaron Ramsdale to leave in this window,” he said on Sky Sports News.
“Ramsdale’s future has been the subject of widespread speculation – but his situation is likely to be reviewed in the summer.
“It is likely to be a quiet window as far as incomings are concerned given FFP restrictions and they may look at the loan market if they want to recruit.”
Logical for Arsenal to keep hold of Aaron Ramsdale until end of season – TBR View
Ramsdale is a “magnificent” player – in Raya’s words – who deserves to be playing first-team football at a top club.
This was the case at Arsenal, but just as he dethroned Leno to become first-choice, Raya has now done the same to him. That’s just life at Arsenal under Arteta.
At the same time, moving Ramsdale on mid-season would be an act of self-sabotage by the Gunners. What if he moves on and Raya gets injured and suspended?
The logical call would be to move him on at the end of the season, when Arsenal can find a replacement when there’s no competitive club football going on.
