Arsenal have been told about ‘world class’ player’s availability, but he’s more likely to join Tottenham

Tottenham and Arsenal are often linked with the same players in each transfer window.

Indeed, as two of England’s biggest clubs, Spurs and Arsenal are often fishing in the same sort of ponds.

The likes of Eberechi Eze and Pedro Neto have both been linked with moves to both north London clubs, and now, so has another exciting winger.

Federico Chiesa linked to both Arsenal and Tottenham

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Federico Chiesa for a little while now.

The Italian is out of the picture at Juventus, and the Old Lady are looking to cash-in on the winger as he heads into the final year of his contract.

Arsenal have apparently been informed about Chiesa’s situation, but, as things stand, he’s more likely to sign for Tottenham.

That is according to GiveMeSport, who claim that Spurs’ interest is more advanced than many of their Premier League rivals, including Arsenal.

Chiesa to Tottenham makes more sense

It’s not a surprise to hear that Tottenham are ahead of Arsenal in this race to sign Chiesa.

Indeed, this is a potential signing that makes so much sense for Tottenham.

Spurs have a recent history of pinching a number of key players from Juventus.

Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero are all recent Spurs signings from the Italian giants.

Of course, many of these deals were brokered by Fabio Paratici, and with the Italian still said to be doing some consultancy work with Tottenham, it wouldn’t be a shock if the ‘world class’ attacker came highly recommended by the former Sporting Director.

Arsenal do need a new right winger as they look to bring in someone who can compete with Bukayo Saka down that side and rotate with the England international, but it doesn’t sound as though Chiesa will be arriving at the Emirates this summer.

Chiesa to Tottenham could well be on the cards in this window.
