Arsenal want to sign Benjamin Sesko this summer.
The RB Leipzig striker has been named as Arsenal’s top transfer target this summer.
However, as we all know, these deals aren’t easy to do, and Leipzig want to keep Sesko.
If Leipzig do manage to keep Sesko, Arsenal will still need a new striker, and according to Ben Jacobs, speaking on The Done Deal Show, the Gunners have a ‘special’ option in reserve for if they don’t sign Sesko.

Arsenal have Evan Ferguson and Joshua Zirkzee as options
Jacobs named Evan Ferguson and Joshua Zirkzee as options for Arsenal if they don’t manage to get Sesko.
“I’m told that it’s still open, but I’m also told that Arsenal are serious on Sesko, but they have a couple of other names on their list too. Evan Ferguson, Joshua Zirkzee, who is widely expected to go to Milan and Viktor Gyokeres, who Chelsea have ruled out,” Jacobs said.
“I expect Arsenal to push. I think they had seven names on their list and now it’s down to two or three.”
Ferguson not what Arsenal need
Evan Ferguson looks like he could be an exciting prospect, but he really isn’t the player Arsenal need right now.
The Irishman hasn’t scored a Premier League goal since November, and he’s not really proven at the top level beyond a few solid showings.
Of course, if you buy Ferguson you’re buying potential, but with the Premier League title within touching distance this season, Arsenal surely want someone who is more of a finished product.
There’s a strong argument to make that Ferguson would actually be Arsenal’s third-choice striker at the moment, and he’s not the marquee addition who will take Arsenal to the next level next season.
The Gunners may be best off looking elsewhere if they don’t manage to get Sesko through the door.
