Arsenal are just two games away from the Europa League final, but first the Gunners must navigate past Unai Emery’s Villarreal tonight and next week.
One player Mikel Arteta and Edu could – and should – take a look at is Samuel Chukwueze, a player currently linked with Arsenal and who has been linked in the past.
According to La Razon, Arsenal, Everton and West Ham are currently interested in Chukwueze’s services, but face competition from long-time admirers Atletico Madrid.
The 21-year-old is one of the most exciting young players in La Liga, having made his first-team breakthrough in 2018-19 and impressing from a young age.

Chukwueze has struggled at times this season but his form has picked up in recent weeks, starring as Villarreal beat Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League quarter-finals.
He also ended his La Liga goal drought – which began in November – earlier this month with a brace in a 5-1 hammering of Levante, and scored in the 2-1 defeat to Barcelona.
Arsenal cult hero and Yellow Submarine ace Santi Cazorla is fond of Chukwueze and previously told Marca the Gunners had been in touch regarding the young prodigy.
Last year, Cazorla also said, as quoted by Futaa: “The hard work he is putting in, he has to maintain it and continue to develop here because he can be the best in the world.”
Chukwueze has already passed the 100-appearance mark for his club, and 18 caps for Nigeria at 21 years of age is also testament to his quality.
Tonight, Arsenal have a great chance to see how he does and perhaps Arteta and Edu could have some real food for thought come full time when it comes to possible summer recruits.
