Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur played out a highly entertaining draw at the Emirates Stadium with the Gunners coming from two goals behind to earn a share of the spoils.
Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane had fired Tottenham into the lead. Goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ensured parity.
The result keeps Unai Emery’s team above their fierce rivals and offers Arsenal plenty of optimism moving forward.
It wasn’t a day to remember for Gunners midfielder Granit Xhaka.

The Switzerland international gave away a needless penalty in the first half. His braindead challenge on Son Heung-min giving Kane the chance to despatch his penalty with half-time looming.
The £100,000-a-week (Spotrac) performer has never really been taken to by the Arsenal supporters, with several querying what he actually brings to the team.
Since arriving from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2016 he has made 137 appearances, scoring 11 goals and registering 16 assists.
Emery has given the midfielder the captaincy when he has played this season, although that doesn’t appear to have made him any less of a liability for the Gunners.

After another abject performance, Arsenal supporters have taken to Twitter to slam the man who should be their midfield maestro.
Here is a selection of Tweets from Gunners fans regarding Xhaka’s North London derby display:
