In less than 24 hours, Arsenal will be getting their Premier League encounter with Tottenham Hotspur under way.
The Gunners will be eager to make amends for their disappointing 1-1 draw against Brighton last time out.
In addition, Arsenal get the chance to claim local bragging rights against their arch-rivals and make Spurs’ start to the season even worse.
Mikel Arteta has been putting his players through their paces at London Colney ahead of the game, and several academy gems could be spotted in training.
Arsenal’s media team published new pictures on Saturday, and a 19-year-old who has been deemed a “significant threat going forward” was spotted.

The player in question is Elian Quesada-Thorn, a left-back who currently plies his trade for the Arsenal Under-21s.
The 19-year-old was pictured focusing on the ball, with new signing Raheem Sterling prepared to vie with him for possession.
Who is Arsenal talent Elian Quesada-Thorn?
Quesada-Thorn is a professional footballer who was born in London on 2 February 2005 and joined the Arsenal academy on 11 November 2015.
The 19-year-old has been described by the official Gunners website as an ‘athletic full-back’ who can also operate in midfield, and is a ‘fine crosser of the ball’.
Meanwhile, Arsenal youth team expert Jeorge Bird has described Quesada-Thorn as a ‘skilful left-back who poses a significant threat going forwards’.
Quesada-Thorn, a Costa Rica youth international, signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in the summer of 2023.
He has made 11 competitive appearances for Arsenal’s Under-21s, as well as 18 for the Under-18s.
Quesada-Thorn’s style of play in his own words
After Quesada-Thorn signed his contract in July 2023, he conducted an interview with the Arsenal media team.
He said about his style of play: “I’d say I’m a versatile player and very creative when I’m on the ball.
“I love to do the dirty work as well. I can do both sides of the game and hopefully, I can share that this season.”
