Arsenal fans will love the first thing Kyle Walker said to Saka when he turned up to England camp yesterday

It’s once again that time of the football season where Arsenal fans join together with their club rivals to back the national team.

The England squad arrived at St. George’s Park yesterday, and the team shared a video of the players greeting each other.

One of the hallmarks of recent England squads is how well they’ve put their club matters aside to work together.

The brilliant form of Arsenal and Manchester City is only going to benefit the Three Lions in this tournament.

The Gunners have contributed three players to the squad, while five of Pep Guardiola’s squad were called up by Gareth Southgate.

The two teams appear to be the only Premier League title contenders at this stage.

Upon entering the building, Bukayo Saka spoke to Kyle Walker and exchanged the normal pleasantries.

However, Arsenal fans will love what Walker said to Saka as he greeted his England colleague.

Saka spoke to Walker arriving at the England camp

The video shows the Arsenal winger approaching the 32-year-old defender as he enters the building.

Walker then says to Saka, “Are you guys going to stop winning?”

Saka smiles and replies, “Don’t worry about that bro. Are you feeling good?”, to which Walker says, “Yeah I’m all good.”

The fact that when Saka spoke to Walker his first question was to ask about Arsenal’s current form will be music to Arsenal fans ears.

The Gunners opened up a five-point gap at the top of the league when they beat Wolves on Saturday.

Saka’s performance impressed England’s record goal scorer Wayne Rooney, who in The Times called in a ‘top player’.

Martin Odegaard stole the show though, and his brace earned Arsenal another three points on the road.

Walker has had to watch his City side fall further behind Arsenal from the side lines after having groin surgery.

He’s been deemed fit enough to be part of the England set-up which is a massive boost.

The pair will be putting club allegiances aside for the next month, with the World Cup their main focus.
